TH-6347 is a 100-% solids SBC-based hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive formulated specifically for aluminium pressure sensitive tape, combining high tack and low melt viscosity for trouble-free slot-die or roll-coat application at 150-180 °C. The rubber-rich block-copolymer network delivers aggressive quick-stick to aluminium, steel and painted surfaces while maintaining clean removability and shear resistance up to 60 °C. With coat weights from 22 g/m² it passes UL 723 flame spread and provides moisture-proof sealing for HVAC ducts, insulation facing and EMI foil shielding. Odour-free, UV-stable and REACH-compliant, TH-6347 lets converters run faster, cooler lines and ship aluminium pressure sensitive tape rolls that unwind quietly and stick reliably from -30 °C to +60 °C.

1. Product Identity: TH-6347 is a SBC-based, 100 % solids hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive specifically engineered for the coating lines that manufacture aluminium pressure sensitive tape, providing instant bonding to foil, insulation facing and metal duct surfaces in a single pass.
2. Physical Form & Packaging: Yellowish, semi-transparent blocks with consistent melt clarity; 20 kg net-weight, plastic-bagged and carton-boxed for clean handling and easy feed into slot-die or roll-coater hoppers.
3. Medium-Low Melt Viscosity: 2,600 cPs at 170 °C allows smooth pumping, uniform film thickness down to 22 g m⁻² and reduced energy demand compared with conventional rubber-resin hot-melts.
4. Balanced Softening Range: 80-90 °C delivers adequate heat resistance for HVAC summer service up to 60 °C while maintaining clean unwind and low noise at high-speed dereeling.
5. Adhesion Profile: High quick-stick (>18 N/25 mm peel on aluminium backing) combined with >24 h static-shear at 1 kg load, meeting the dual requirement of rapid positioning and long-term load holding demanded by sealing and EMI shielding applications.
6. Processing Versatility: Stable viscosity plateau during 6 h pot life minimizes nozzle fouling, web breaks and coat-weight drift; suitable for direct-roll, gravure or slot-die coating on 12-50 µm aluminium foils, polyester liners and reinforced scrims.
