A sharp, repeatable softening point of 80-90 °C delivers quick activation at standard hot-melt stations yet resists cold-flow and edge-ooze during summer storage or container shipping. Once cooled, T181 forms an aggressive tack that builds to a permanent bond; peel values on roughened EVA exceed 12 N mm⁻¹ even after 72 h at 38 °C/95 % RH, so collar and tongue foams stay locked in place through thousands of flex cycles. The SBC rubber backbone keeps the joint flexible down to –20 °C and stable to 80 °C, passing DIN 53543 fatigue and SATRA TM 411 dynamic creep tests without cracking or delamination. Being 100 % solids, zero-solvent and REACH-compliant, T181 supports VOC-free workshops and easy recycling of footwear waste; both release-paper and meltable-film packages are available for zero-residue application.
