TH-6815A is a natural-white APAO-based hot-melt adhesive block engineered for automotive assembly. It delivers fast, strong bonding of trunk linings, carpets and interior textiles to metal or plastic substrates. The low-odor, heat-stable formula maintains flexibility from -40 °C to 105 °C, ensuring quiet, vibration-resistant joints throughout the vehicle’s life. Applied at 160–180 °C, TH-6815A sets quickly for high-speed production while allowing easy repositioning during open time.

1. Formulated as a natural-white, APAO-based block, TH-6815A is a truly green hot melt adhesive for automotive assembly that contains no solvents, heavy metals or toxic plasticizers, meeting REACH and RoHS standards for vehicle interiors.
2. Engineered for the hot melt adhesive for automotive segment, it delivers exceptionally high bond strength (>3.5 MPa shear on polypropylene carpets) while remaining flexible enough to absorb the thermal cycling and vibration typical of luggage compartments.
3. The 170 °C melt viscosity of 3500 cps is optimized for both spiral spray and bead extrusion, letting operators switch between wide-area coverage and precise ribbon application without changing tanks or nozzles.
4. A tightly controlled softening point of 115 ± 5 °C guarantees that bonded trunk mats, side-wall carpets and foot pads stay firmly attached even after 168 h at 90 °C, yet the adhesive remains cold-flexible down to –40 °C for global OEM specifications.
5. Rapid setting (open time 25–30 s at 23 °C) accelerates takt time on robotic lines, while clean cut-off eliminates stringing and keeps glue guns and sensors free of char, reducing maintenance downtime.
6. Superior thermal stability means 72 h pot life at 180 °C with less than 5 % viscosity drift, so production can run multi-shift without frequent purges or discoloration of the natural-white adhesive.
7. Compatible with PP, PET, ABS, non-wovens, barrier foams and recycled needle-punch carpets, TH-6815A bonds dissimilar substrates without primer, lowering material cost and VOC load in vehicle cabins.
