Battery Assmbly Glue
TH-812A is a polyolefin-based hot-melt formulated to bond both PP/PE battery casings and zinc cans of dry cells to internal plates in one fast pass. It wets and locks to zinc, polyolefin and separator substrates within seconds of cooling, creating a leak-proof, electrolyte-tight seal that lasts from –40 °C to +85 °C. Applied at 160–180 °C through jet dispensers, the 100 % solid adhesive eliminates cure time, shrinks production cycles and keeps lines solvent-free and RoHS-compliant.

Key features
1. Purpose-built battery assembly glue – engineered for high-speed sealing and bonding of dry-cell zinc cans to paper separators, brass collectors and PP collars, passing 100 % leak tests on AAA, AA, C and D lines.
2. Ultra-low melt viscosity – only ~700 cP at 170 °C, so the battery assembly glue penetrates micro-gaps between zinc wall and asphalt seal within 1–2 s, eliminating capillary leak paths before it solidifies.
3. Fast, production-friendly setting – softens at 120-130 °C, sets in <5 s on cooling to room temperature; no curing ovens required, cutting takt time and energy use on rotary dry-cell assembly machines.
4. Wide service window – maintains flexible, creep-resistant seal from –40 °C to +85 °C, passing 72 h thermal-shock, vibration and 1 m drop tests without cracking or delamination in zinc-jacket cells.
5. Green & safe formulation – 100 % solids, zero VOC, halogen-free, RoHS/REACH compliant; odor-free application improves workplace air quality compared with solvent or bitumen systems.
6. Clean, ergonomic packaging – 0.5 kg fusible film slugs drop straight into the tank, no peeling or liner waste; film dissolves completely at 170 °C without char or nozzle clog. The adhesive blocks are packed in a 20 kg recyclable carton that is easy to store and handle.
7. Proven reliability – lot-traceable polyolefin resins and in-line QC (melt index, ring-and-ball, peel on Zn/PP) guarantee consistent batch-to-batch performance for global dry-cell OEMs.
