Automotive Interior Hot Melt

1. Formulated as a natural-white, APAO-based block, TH-861A is a truly green automotive interior hot melt that contains zero solvents, halogens or heavy metals, fully complying with REACH, RoHS and OEM VOC limits for cabin air quality.

2. With a melt viscosity of 7500 cps at 170 °C, this automotive interior hot melt offers an ideal balance between low-temperature application (160–180 °C) and high initial tack, enabling both spiral spray for wide-area coverage and precise bead extrusion on complex contours without sagging or stringing.

3. The high softening point of 135 ± 5 °C guarantees that bonded door panels, headliners, pillar trims and seat-back substrates maintain shear strengths above 3 MPa even after 1000 h at 90 °C, passing every OEM heat-age and creep test.

4. Excellent thermal stability provides a 48 h pot life at 180 °C with less than 5 % viscosity drift, minimizing char formation and nozzle clogging so robotic lines can run multiple shifts without costly downtime or discoloration of the adhesive.

5. Superior low-temperature flexibility down to –40 °C ensures quiet performance: no embrittlement, cracking or "tick" noises during thermal cycling tests, meeting the toughest NVH requirements for premium vehicle interiors.

6. Compatible with PP, ABS, PET, non-wovens, barrier foams and recycled needle-punch carpets, TH-861A bonds dissimilar lightweight substrates without primer, reducing material cost, assembly steps and overall carbon footprint.
