Indoor type: Adhesives suitable for indoor use, such as fly glue and cockroach glue. They are characterized by lower adhesion than outdoor types, simpler production technology, and more flexible formulations.
Outdoor type: Adhesives used in natural conditions to eliminate pests, such as tartar glue, gun-type adhesive glue, and injection-type adhesive glue. They are characterized by strong adhesion, anti-aging properties, complex production processes, and high precision requirements for formulation.
Depending on the formulation, they can be divided into the following types:
- Environmentally friendly hot-melt pressure-sensitive type: This type of product is complex to formulate and relatively expensive.
- Traditional rosin pressure-sensitive type: This type of product is mostly used to formulate indoor adhesives. Most domestic manufacturers use this type of adhesive.
- Other pressure-sensitive types: This type of adhesive varies in quality and is difficult to distinguish between genuine and fake. To know its true effectiveness, professional knowledge is required. Consulting relevant organizations is also recommended.
Depending on the appearance of the adhesive, it can be divided into:
(1) Colorless or milky white high-viscosity adhesive; this type of adhesive is of the best quality. Environmentally friendly and suitable for field use.
(2) Pale yellow glue: This type of glue is largely composed of rosin adhesive, with a small portion being a low-grade polybutene mixture. Some are insect-sticking glues made from a mixture of polypropylene and polybutene.
(3) Black glue: This type of glue is a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive with an unpleasant odor, mostly used for catching rodents.
