Packaging Hot Melt

TH-101A is a high-performance EVA-based hot-melt adhesive specifically designed for fast-paced carton sealing on automatic packaging lines. With a melting viscosity of approximately 1,400 cps at 170 °C and a softening point of 110 ± 5 °C, it offers excellent thermal stability and consistent flow properties, ensuring smooth operation in high-speed melters without clogging or dripping.

This light-yellow granular adhesive delivers strong initial tack and a quick setting time of 2–3 seconds, making it ideal for high-efficiency case sealing. Its open time of 5–12 seconds allows for minor adjustments during application, while still ensuring a secure, durable bond on various carton substrates, including kraft, recycled boards. TH-101A performs reliably across a wide temperature range, maintaining bond integrity in both cold storage and ambient logistics.

TH-101A is environmentally friendly, containing no solvents, heavy metals, or phthalates, and emits low VOCs during application. While it is not intended for direct food contact, it is suitable for indirect food contact packaging in compliance with FDA 21 CFR 175.105 and EU framework regulation (EC) 1935/2004, ensuring safety in secondary food packaging applications such as outer carton sealing.
