Box Sealing Glue

TH-102A is an EVA-based box sealing glue specifically engineered for high-speed automatic case erectors, wrap-around packers and folder-gluers that close corrugated cases and folding cartons at up to 60 strokes per minute. The free-flowing white, semi-transparent pellets melt rapidly in the glue tank and develop a stable viscosity of approximately 1,400 cP at 170 °C, allowing precision gear pumps to lay down an ultra-thin, uniform bead along major and minor flaps without stringing or cob-webbing. Because the adhesive keeps nozzle faces clean for hours, operators experience fewer cleaning stops and consistently crisp glue patterns that stay clear of bar-codes and product surfaces.

The polymer backbone is designed around a 110–120 °C ring-and-ball softening point, which means TH-102A remains thermally stable inside the tank yet flash-cools the moment it contacts room-temperature board. This rapid phase change translates into a 2–4 second set time and immediate fiber-tearing bond strength, so the machine can fold, compress and release each case without dwell belts or compression clamps. As a result, packagers can raise line speed, cut pop-opens to below 0.1 % and still handle single-wall e-commerce shippers, double-wall beverage trays or litho-laminate gift boxes with equal confidence.

Environmental responsibility is built into every pellet. The box sealing glue is manufactured without solvents, phthalates or heavy-metal catalysts, and it meets both FDA 21 CFR 175.105 indirect food-contact guidelines and EU REACH requirements. Dust-free, low-odor granules are supplied in recyclable kraft bags that can be emptied directly into the hopper, eliminating plastic liner waste and simplifying housekeeping.
