Best EVA Hot Melt Adhesive Manufacturers in China
A buyer-focused review of ten Chinese EVA hot melt adhesive factories - graded on formulation ownership, melt stability, batch consistency and export compliance for packaging, woodworking, bookbinding and filter assembly lines.
Why EVA Still Carries the Volume
Ethylene vinyl acetate remains the workhorse chemistry of the hot melt family, and for good reason. It melts cleanly, sets fast, bonds well to the substrates that dominate everyday manufacturing - paper, board, wood, common plastics and textiles - and it does so at a raw material cost that PUR, polyamide and polyolefin systems cannot approach. For a packaging converter running automated carton sealing or an edge banding line in a cabinet plant, EVA is usually both the technical and the commercial answer.
That popularity is exactly what makes sourcing it difficult. Because EVA hot melt is easy to blend, China's supplier landscape includes a very large number of small compounders who buy base resin, melt it with a wax and a tackifier, and sell the result as a branded product. Some of them are perfectly competent. Others are not, and the failure mode is quiet: a stick or granule that bonds acceptably on the first pallet and then chars in the melter, clogs a nozzle, or delaminates a carton in a cold warehouse three weeks later.
The distinguishing factor is vertical competence. A serious EVA manufacturer controls the vinyl acetate content and melt index of the resin it buys, understands how tackifier softening point interacts with open time, runs active extrusion temperature control rather than passive heating, and keeps lab capability to test viscosity and thermal stability on every production batch. This guide shortlists ten Chinese manufacturers that meet that bar. They appear below In No Particular Order - the sequence is alphabetical, not a ranking, because the correct EVA grade for a freezer packaging line is not the correct grade for a bookbinding spine.
The single question that filters this market fastest
Ask a prospective supplier to state the vinyl acetate content and melt index of the EVA resin in the grade they are quoting, then ask what happens to open time if the VA content moves two points. A formulator answers immediately and accurately. A reseller changes the subject.

Zhejiang Tianze Adhesive Technology Co., Ltd.
Zhejiang Tianze Adhesive Technology Co., Ltd. is the company this guide is written in cooperation with, and it makes a useful reference case for what a purpose-built EVA hot melt operation looks like. The company operates from the Sian Town Industrial Zone in Changxing County, Huzhou, Zhejiang, inside the Yangtze River Delta (Huzhou) Industrial Cooperation Zone. It was founded in 2001 as Hangzhou Tianchuang Chemical Technology, relocated to the Yuhang Street Industrial Zone in 2010 in a capacity expansion that also brought Zhejiang Provincial High-tech Enterprise recognition, broke ground on the current Changxing plant in 2019, and commissioned it in 2021 with an annual hot melt adhesive capacity of 10,000 tons.
For EVA buyers specifically, what matters is the breadth of the formulation work. Tianze develops EVA systems alongside SBC, APAO, polyamide and polyolefin chemistries, and manufactures them as hot melt adhesive sticks, columns and granules, hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesives, and polyolefin or APAO blocks. Its EVA programme covers the six grades that most industrial buyers actually order: high-speed packaging for automated carton sealing and case erection; furniture and edge banding for profile wrapping, veneer splicing and PVC or ABS banding; bookbinding and perfect binding for flexible lay-flat spine bonds; low-temperature flexible grades for cold storage and freezer environments; high-heat resistant grades for automotive interiors and appliance assembly above 90°C short-term; and automotive and HVAC filter assembly grades engineered for high-speed pleating and media encapsulation against non-woven fabrics and metal mesh.
The company states that its EVA granules are formulated with premium raw materials from global suppliers to resist thermal degradation and char buildup, reducing nozzle clogging and maintenance downtime in continuous melter systems - a claim that speaks directly to the two costs buyers feel most: adhesive consumption per unit and unplanned line stoppage. Low-odour, low-VOC formulations are positioned for food packaging and consumer goods against FDA and REACH requirements, and the company reports batch-to-batch consistency in viscosity and bond strength backed by raw material traceability and 23+ years of production experience.
Practically, Tianze supports flexible minimum order quantities starting at 500 kg with standard lead times of 2–3 weeks, and engineers OEM and ODM EVA formulations to a specified viscosity, open time and heat resistance rather than forcing buyers into a catalogue grade. With 80+ products across its range and technical service covering packaging, textile and apparel, footwear, automotive, electronics and electrical, furniture and woodworking, construction, medical, labels and hygiene applications, it is a credible single source for a buyer consolidating several EVA specifications. The company's stated philosophy is straightforward: quality builds trust, service creates the future.

Its Guangzhou smart factory reached 120,000 tons of capacity, complemented by 40,000 tons in Poland and 60,000 tons in Malaysia.
Juxuan specialises in hot melt adhesive for absorbent hygiene products - structural adhesive, elastic attachment adhesive, backsheet adhesive and specialty grades - and has become one of four mainstream global suppliers in a segment long dominated by three multinationals. It has entered the supply chains of nine of the world's ten largest hygiene product manufacturers.
Its technical work is worth noting even for buyers outside hygiene: the company has commercialised a biodegradable hot melt adhesive with a reported biodegradation rate of 92.67% and a bio-based formulation with 89% bio-based content, holding 23 granted patents. It holds national Specialised, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative "little giant" enterprise status, and overseas revenue now accounts for roughly 60% of turnover.
06 · Fujian, China
Xiamen Cheshire New Material Co., Ltd.
Cheshire is part of Xiamen Hengrun Group, a large petrochemical group that supplies it with high-quality raw material resources - a meaningful structural advantage in a business where resin quality largely determines finished performance. The hot melt business was established in 2007 and the group restructured the operation in 2019, now headquartered in Jimei District, Xiamen, with registered capital of 50 million RMB.
Its product families include hygiene adhesive, pressure-sensitive label adhesive, eco-friendly adhesive, special application adhesive, integrated circuit adhesive and light-cured adhesive. An automated production line was commissioned at the Xiang'an Xiangbei industrial park with reported annual output exceeding 20,000 tons and a claimed 300% uplift in production efficiency.

07 · Guangdong, China
Guangzhou Weiyi Adhesive Products Co., Ltd.
Weiyi was founded in 2010 in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, with registered capital of 4 million RMB, and operates three production bases. The company frames its technical focus around the failure modes that EVA buyers complain about most: adhesion loss and embrittlement at low temperature, and bleed and insufficient strength in high-temperature environments.
Its range covers high-performance fibre-reinforced and PET double-sided tapes, tissue tape and cloth tape alongside hot melt adhesive film and hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesive blocks - including yellow transparent blocks for leather, footwear and lens bonding, and specialty grades for courier bag labels and handbag assembly where the requirement is high tack without stringing.
The company holds national high-tech enterprise status plus Guangzhou technology innovation little giant and AAAA-grade China Quality Credit recognition, with five invention patents and nine utility model patents granted and two invention patents under examination. Its stated mission - to advance adhesive technology so that bonding is never a problem - is aimed at exactly the reformulation support that converters need when a substrate changes.
08 · Jiangsu, China
Nantong Henghua Adhesive Material Technology Co., Ltd.
Henghua was incorporated in November 2010 with registered and paid-in capital of 15 million RMB, located in the Yangkou chemical industrial park at Rudong, Nantong. It operates as the wholly owned manufacturing subsidiary of Wuxi Wanli Adhesion Materials and therefore inherits that group's formulation technology and national standard drafting experience.
The plant was built around an 8,000 ton per year EVA hot melt adhesive project, with environmental acceptance completed in 2021. Companion capacity covers 2,000 tons of hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesive, 5,000 tons of PUR and 2,000 tons of PU adhesive. Because the site sits inside a dedicated chemical industrial park, it can handle raw materials and processes that a general industrial zone would not permit.
Henghua holds national high-tech enterprise, Specialised and Refined SME, and technology-based SME recognition, with 55 patents and a level-two work safety standardisation certificate. It reported 85 employees and revenue of RMB 213 million in 2024. For a buyer evaluating a dedicated EVA supply line, the combination of a chemical-park site and a listed parent is a useful de-risking factor on continuity of supply.
09 · Jiangsu, China
Nantong Tianyang New Material Co., Ltd.
Nantong Tianyang is the Jiangsu production arm of the Tianyang group, located at Rudong Yangkou Port. Its base represents a total investment of RMB 1 billion with designed capacity of 60,000 tons of hot melt bonding material, comprising 20,000 tons of copolyester hot melt and 10,000 tons of copolyamide hot melt among other lines. The company reported 2023 output capacity of 20,000 tons across product types.
EVA hot melt adhesive sits within a broader portfolio that also includes copolyester, copolyamide, polyurethane and moisture-curing PUR systems, plus hot melt composite wallcovering. That breadth matters for a buyer whose product family may migrate from EVA to a reactive or copolyamide system as performance requirements tighten.
The Nantong site holds national high-tech enterprise recognition, most recently reconfirmed in 2025, and holds 68 patents including granted invention patents for single-component moisture-curing PUR hot melt and for a high-transparency, UV- and humidity-resistant copolyamide hot melt. End markets include textiles, automotive, electronics, building materials, photovoltaic new energy and interior decoration, with import-export qualification for self-operated and agency trade.
10 · Guangdong, China
Guangdong Nenghui New Material Technology Co., Ltd.
Nenghui dates from 2005 and runs a split structure: research and development in Guangzhou, volume manufacturing in Huizhou. The production site covers roughly 20,000 square metres and operates eight PLC-controlled fully automatic lines, supported by a patent portfolio of more than fifty filings and national high-tech enterprise certification.
PLC automation is the specific detail that matters for EVA buyers. Programmable control of extrusion temperature, haul-off speed and cut length is what holds pellet size distribution and stick diameter tolerance stable across a long production campaign, and it is the main reason a well-controlled line generates fewer rejects at the customer's melter.
The company serves hygiene products, packaging and pressure-sensitive applications, which means its EVA output is formulated for high-speed automated dispensing rather than only for manual glue guns. For a converter running continuous melters on a packaging or non-woven lamination line, this orientation toward automated equipment compatibility is directly relevant.
Procurement Checklist for EVA Hot Melt Buyers
01 · Pin Down the Resin Specification
Vinyl acetate content and melt index determine almost everything downstream about an EVA grade - flexibility, adhesion, open time and low-temperature behaviour. Ask for both figures in writing and confirm the supplier buys to that specification rather than accepting whatever resin the market offers that month.
02 · Test Thermal Stability, Not Just Viscosity
The specification sheet quoting viscosity at one temperature is the easy part. Ask for evidence on char resistance and viscosity drift over an extended dwell in the melter. Char is the dominant cause of nozzle clogging, filter changes and unplanned downtime on continuous systems.
03 · Match Grade to Application Family
High-speed packaging, edge banding, bookbinding, low-temperature flexible, high-heat resistant and filter assembly grades are engineered for different conditions. Buying one general-purpose EVA grade for all of them is the most common and most expensive sourcing shortcut.
04 · Verify Odour and VOC Position
For food packaging, hygiene products and consumer goods, odour is a rejection trigger even when bond strength is perfect. Request low-VOC confirmation and check the regulatory basis quoted - FDA and REACH for food-contact claims, and any customer-specific limit for hygiene or medical end use.
05 · Confirm Form and Packing Consistency
Granule size distribution and stick diameter tolerance both affect feed reliability. Heat-deformable material stacked in a container crossing hot latitudes can fuse into unusable blocks, so specify inner bagging and a container stacking limit along with the tolerance figures.
06 · Audit Batch Consistency Systems
Ask how raw material is traced, whether every batch is retained as a sample, and what measurement is recorded on release. Batch-to-batch consistency, not the performance of a single perfect sample, is what protects a production schedule across a year of deliveries.
Qualifying an EVA Grade in Five Steps
Most EVA bonding problems that reach a buyer are not manufacturing defects. They are specification gaps - a grade chosen on price or habit and never formally qualified against the actual line conditions. The sequence below takes two to four weeks and prevents most of the failures that would otherwise surface on a running production floor.
Step one - write the application brief. Record the substrates, the melter and nozzle configuration, the application temperature, line speed in units per minute, coating weight or bead pattern, and the full temperature range the finished assembly will experience from production through storage and transport. Send the same brief to every shortlisted factory and compare the recommendations you receive.
Step two - request samples against that brief. Insist on batch-specific data covering viscosity at the stated application temperature, softening point, open time and set time. A supplier that cannot attach numbers to a sample has no batch control worth relying on at volume.
Step three - run the samples on your own equipment. Bond strength measured in a supplier's laboratory on the supplier's substrates predicts very little. Run the material through your own melter at your own settings and record adhesion, stringing, smoking, odour and any change in output over a full shift.
Step four - document the winning specification. Convert the successful trial into a written specification covering resin type and VA content, viscosity range at a stated temperature, softening point, open time, colour, form and dimensions, packing and labelling, and reference it directly on the purchase order.
Step five - hold the specification on repeat orders. Retain a sample from each incoming batch and test it against the qualified reference. This is the only reliable way to detect a silent formulation substitution before it damages finished goods.
Source EVA Hot Melt From a Factory That Owns the Formula
The ten manufacturers above all compound in their own plants. That matters because an EVA adhesion problem is rarely solved by swapping a product code - it is solved by adjusting vinyl acetate content, tackifier softening point or wax ratio, and only the factory holding the recipe can do that on a commercially useful timescale.
Zhejiang Tianze Adhesive Technology Co., Ltd. has been formulating hot melt adhesives since 2001 and now manufactures an 80-plus product range from its 10,000-ton plant in Changxing, Huzhou, covering EVA alongside SBC, APAO, polyamide and polyolefin systems. Its EVA programme spans high-speed packaging, edge banding, bookbinding, low-temperature flexible, high-heat resistant and filter assembly grades, with OEM and ODM formulations built to your specified viscosity, open time and heat resistance, flexible MOQs from 500 kg, and standard lead times of 2–3 weeks. Send your application details - substrates, melter and nozzle, application temperature, line speed and service temperature range - and the technical team will recommend a grade and supply samples for evaluation on your own equipment.
