Fast Setting Hot melt Glue Stick is engineered for high-throughput packaging lines that demand instant handling strength on carton substrates. Its balanced medium-viscosity formula flows smoothly through standard 11 mm glue guns and bulk tank systems at 160-180 °C, coating evenly on kraft, recycled board, clay-coated and B-flute surfaces. The adhesive reaches initial set in 1-2 seconds-up to 70 % faster than conventional EVA sticks-allowing cases to be stacked or palletized immediately, drastically reducing work in process inventory and conveyor length.
A 4-8 second open time strikes the optimum balance between speed and adjustability; operators can make minor flap realignments before the bond locks permanently, minimizing scrap from misfeeds. Once cooled, the glue forms a tough, flexible thermoplastic film with 380 N/inch shear strength on kraft-to-kraft joints, passing drop tests. Temperature resistance spans –20 °C to +70 °C, so sealed cartons remain intact through unconditioned warehouses, refrigerated trucks and summer loading docks.
